Hey Jon,

I figured you must be so freakin busy. New job, new house, new town,
new baby...how is Perry holding up? Please tell me you are making
relatives come visit you out there for Thanksgiving/Christmas! We had
an intern from Pittsburg this summer; do you have to drive through the
tunnel to get to work? Our trees are at peak color right now; actually
very pretty despite the drought.

I went to our local chess club last night and got absolutely spanked by a lady who only comes so her kids can play with other kids. Chess in real life is very different from email chess. I definitely like the luxury of only thinking about it in idle moments! I think it's even easier to visualize the board with the top down view. Plus, there is nobody across from you looking board while you think.

Hey Jon,

The trip was a big success. Highlights were playing in waves at beach, Wallops visitor center (almost got to see a launch, but boats were downrange), and canoeing in a salt marsh. Everybody got along and we all had fun.
